Contract Residence
Logo design for a residential building (current client). This logo consists of a wordmark and a symbol giving us a few variations, that we are able to use in the branding and marketing materials. The brandmark is inspired by the french windows, which give you a feeling of luxury and remind you of home and cosiness. The brandmark also has a cross-reference to the main company Contract City, by using the outer rectangular shape and the symbol is completely symmetrical. The wordmark is created in a way that balances both elements. The brand colours were chosen carefully so that they are modern but also make a reference to Contract City. The colour palette consists of 5 colours – a bold main colour, an accent colour, a complimentary colour, a light neutral and a dark neutral colour. All of them work well together and can be paired in different ways, while still looking balanced and coherent. When creating the palette, we wanted to portray a specific feel for the brand which is warmth, importance, a new beginning, stability and harmony.
